v1Biz is a media technology integration firm based in Los Angeles, CA.

We are a group of software infrastructure engineers, architects, product managers, and user experience creators.

v1Biz specializes in helping emerging media tech companies with fresh, unique, and disruptive business models create and bring their product to market.

What we offer

v1Biz proactively researches emerging cloud infrastructure technologies available on cloud services such as Azure or AWS. Modern technology has allowed us to enable new emerging companies with capabilities previously only afforded by larger scale entities.

Through the understanding of these technologies, v1Biz translates the requirements of the business to the most optimal infrastructure required both initially and for growth.

System Infrastructure Design

We believe that defining the product is core to user experience design. Once the product is defined, v1Biz works with the product owner to map frictionless user paths for optimal user experience.

As the product comes to market, v1Biz works with the product owner to regularly analyze user behavior and evolve the user experience.

User Interface and Experience Design

Upon product definition and design, v1Biz software engineers develop the product. Engineers develop in a transparent environment using standards-based source control and documentation tools and methodologies. Implementation schedules are communicated on a regular basis and made available for all participants to view.

Upon deployment, v1Biz staff supports technology used for operations for all engineered systems.

Engineering team leads are made available both to the client and each other via common communication methods such as Slack and email.

Reelview.tv is a private film screening platform which allows film companies to privately screen its films online to designated individuals.

Film companies use Reelview to store contacts, send film screenings, and track viewership.

Reachtv is the first linear short-form television network, designed for tastemakers on the go.

nugs.net is a live music distribution service that features live webcasts, audio streams and downloads, and CDs of over 15,000 full-length concert recordings from legendary road warriors like Phish, Bruce Springsteen, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Widespread Panic, Umphrey’s McGee, and Dead & Company.

Vycter

Vycter is a platform that democratizes the information that powers investment decisions.

The platform aggregates social media sentiment of tradable securities across multiple sources. Data is accessible to end users in the Vycter app and to platform partners via data feeds.

CinemaNow

CinemaNow was founded in 1999 as one of the first on-demand Internet streaming media platforms.

The Company was backed by EchoStar, Cisco Systems, Index Holdings, Menlo Ventures, Lionsgate, and Microsoft. CinemaNow was one of the first companies to bring major studio titles to the home featuring partnerships with all of the major US film studios.
